Worklifeseesaw, com has been set up to help people – women and men alike, not to mention their children – feel less deluged by criticism and more encouraged to celebrate what is good about combining and juggling work and life, home and office, school and play.
The founder is Julia Hobsbawm, who combines being a mother, step-mother, wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, friend, cousin, niece, and businesswoman with devoting time to figuring out how we muddle and juggle along in our lives. Her book The See-Saw: 100 Ideas for Work Life Balance is published in January 2009 by Atlantic Books.
