
Worklifeseesaw.com runs a short course of workshops in London or personal one-to-one coaching online using Skype. We focus on two main topics with more being added in 2012:
RETURNING TO WORK AFTER HAVING A BABY is designed to help the first or second time mother in particular, balance the worklifeseesaw when demands are at their most pressing. Making choices about how to work and how often, making decisions about diversifying or reskilling, thinking through new ways of creating and managing a network that minimizes your isolation away from the workplace. These workshops take place with women who have successfully managed the transition back to work and provides case studies, worry-not sheets, and a template to guide you through your first six months.
GOING FREELANCE is for anyone who is in danger of losing a fixed job and wants to understand the options of striking out alone, or for people who are already planning to balance their lives more effectively by being self-employed. How do you design your time? How do you charge? How do you get work? All this is covered in two two-hour workshops.
Our workshops are comprehensive in their reach and provide you with information, materials and useful interactions to help you plan and manage your worklifeseesaw.
Workshops are about shaping your future so it works to your advantage. They are also the first stage in building a network to sustain and support you.
Coaching is personal to you and concentrate solely on your lifestyle and work needs and your personal issues and personal balance.
We focus in both workshops and coaching on building Confidence, having a Reality Check on what you do and don’t have in place practically and emotionally; and a series of recommendations and resources.
Coaching is provided over a minimum of four sessions lasting half an hour each with either Julia or Shyama.
